New parents are the best gift givers. They’ve been there, done that (recently!) with all-night feedings and little sleep, so when it comes to newborn babies, they know exactly what other new parents need. That’s why Jennifer Lawrence, mom to 16-month-old Cy, was able to give the perfect gift to Robert De Niro, who recently welcomed a baby with Tiffany Chen.

The ‘Ultimate Present’
On an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the No Hard Feelings star revealed that she gifted De Niro a baby nurse!
Cohen asked about her reaction to De Niro’s baby news, and Lawrence responded, per PEOPLE, “I did one better, I sent over a baby nurse. I’m really happy for him.”
“Did you lend him your baby nurse?” asked Cohen. “That’s great. By the way, that’s the ultimate present.”
“Of course, a night’s sleep?” Lawrence replied.
We couldn’t agree more. Being up all night with your screaming bundle of joy is hard, no matter if your 79 like De Niro or 32 like Lawrence. Having a night nurse to take care of your baby and give you some much-needed rest sounds like a dream present! (Yes, we are super jealous!)

Robert De Niro Says Fatherhood Is a ‘Mystery’
The About My Father star welcomed a baby girl named Gia Virginia Chen-De Niro with girlfriend Chen in May 2023.
De Niro is also dad to daughter Helen Grace, 11, and son Elliot, 24, with Grace Hightower; twin sons Julian and Aaron, 27, with Toukie Smith; and son Raphael, 46, and daughter Drena, 51, with Diahnne Abbott.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, he opened up about fatherhood.
“Sometimes I don’t think people really know what being a good father is,” he said.
“Well, they do. You know you have your responsibility,” De Niro continued. “But look, it’s a mystery. It’s a lot of excitement, but scary. And you do your best.”

Motherhood Has Made Jennifer Lawrence ‘a Little Bit More Zen’
Lawrence shares son Cy with Cooke Maroney. She recently talked about her experience with the paparazzi since becoming a mom, and the surprising reaction she had.
“I was just like, ‘How the f**k am I not going to lose it on these guys when they’re taking a picture of my baby?’” Lawrence said in an interview with Interview Magazine this month. “Then once he was here, I realized that my energy is more important to him than anything else. So if he feels that I’m anxious before I leave the house, or I’m angry when we’re outside, that’s going to impact him.”
She added that motherhood has made her feel “a little bit more zen and a little bit more relaxed.” The Hunger Games star explained, “Because I don’t have a choice. You just have to accept it, and take a deep breath and walk. I don’t want him to inherit the anxiety and anger that I have.”
That’s such a healthy way to look at it!
