Joe Jonas was in full girl dad mode yesterday with his daughters Willa, 3, and her sister, 14 months, with ex Sophie Turner. He was photographed on a breakfast date with his toddlers, offering a glimpse at one major trait the little girls share with their dad.
The “Hesitate” singer took his daughters to Sweet Butter Kitchen in L.A. for breakfast on Wednesday morning, in photos obtained by TMZ. He wore a yellow button-down shirt with blue stripes with jeans and a navy blue baseball cap over his dark brown hair. In one picture, he held Willa as he walked to the table. She was dressed in a white top with ruffles and aqua blue pants. A nanny or friend carried his second-born daughter, who wore a pink top and purple leggings. Although their faces were blurred for privacy, you could see both little girls have dark brown just like their dad!
During the breakfast, Jonas reportedly “kept a happy face for the kiddos, making them smile and trading high-fives as everyone ate and chatted.” It sounds like he’s trying to keep things positive amid his divorce — there’s no need to make things unnecessarily stressful for the kids, after all!
Jonas filed for divorce earlier this week, requesting “a parenting plan should be established, which addressed all parenting issues and contains a timesharing schedule providing for frequent and continuing contact with both parties,” per PEOPLE. He’s been watching the girls while touring with brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas, as Turner filmed a TV series in London.
The Game of Thrones alum and Jonas started dating in 2016 and tied the knot in Vegas in May 2019. They welcomed their first daughter a year later and their second daughter in July 2022. The two released a statement about their divorce, which read in part: “After four wonderful years of marriage we have decided to amicably end our marriage.”
These celebrity dads have the sweetest bonds with their daughters.
