Thanks to a viral TikTok clip, a 2014 video of baby Prince George has resurfaced, and we can’t help but notice the hilarious trait all three of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s kids seem to have in common.
When he was 8 months old, George accompanied his parents on a trip to Australia and New Zealand. While down under, the family visited Sydney’s Taronga Zoo, and some of their time at the wildlife park was captured on video. A bit of the footage, which is shown in TikTok user @the.royal.watcher’s 7-second clip, shows Kate handing her son a stuffed animal bilby that was gifted to him as a keepsake from the trip.

George promptly flings the marsupial plushie to the ground with cheeky flair, much to the amusement of the gathered crowd. William, who stands holding the royal baby, jokingly says, “He does love it, honestly!” It was one of the very first instances of the Waleses being embarrassed by their children, making them relatable to non-royal parents across the globe.
George is usually quite reserved in public, as the heir to the throne must be on his best behavior, but his infant antics prove that he, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are all very hilariously cheeky personalities.

Sassy Charlotte
Charlotte is known for being quite sassy, whether she’s glaring at photographers, channeling her best Hermione Granger while correcting her brothers, or making silly faces during royal engagements. While she’s proven to be a cheeky child, Charlotte’s antics are nothing in comparison to those of her little brother, who puts the “wild” in wild child.

Naughty Little Louis
This exuberant move from Louis at the 2023 Trooping the Colour ceremony is peak chaos from the youngest of William and Kate’s kids. Known for being a mischievous little thing, Louis is constantly keeping his parents on their toes with his unfiltered facial expressions and hilariously naughty antics, like putting a hand over Kate’s mouth while she was talking to him. He provides a whole lot of comedic relief for the royal family, much to their chagrin!

The Wales Children
William and Kate welcomed George on July 22, 2013, two years after their Westminster Abbey wedding. Charlotte followed her big brother on May 2, 2015, and Louis entered the fray with all his exuberance on April 23, 2018. With cheekiness running strong in the gene pool, we can’t help but wonder who was sassier as a child: the Prince or Princess of Wales?
