Coronavirus is an infectious disease that has been confirmed in almost three and a half million people across the world. The most common warning signs of the infection have been revealed, including the characteristic fever, and a new, continuous cough.
The UK has officially passed the peak of the coronavirus infection.
But the government has urged the public to stay at home, to avoid becoming infected or spreading the virus further.
Despite nearing the final stretch of the COVID-19 outbreak, hundreds of people are still dying in the UK everyday.
The seven official symptoms of coronavirus have been published by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Anyone with a cough, or shortness of breath, may have the infection, it warned.
They’re more likely to infected if they have at least two other symptoms.
These include a fever, chills, repeated shaking with the chills, muscle pain, sore throats, or a loss of taste or smell.
Headaches could also be caused by the coronavirus, said the CDC, which may easily be dismissed as a common occurrence.

“People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness,” it said.
“Symptoms may appear two to 14 days after exposure to the virus.
“Children have similar symptoms to adults and generally have mild illness.
“This list is not all inclusive. Please consult your medical provider for any other symptoms that are severe or concerning to you.”

It also warned the public to seek immediate medical attention if you’re struggling to breathe.
There are four key emergency warning signs that require hospital treatment, it claimed.
Trouble breathing, a pressure in the chest, new confusion, or even a bluish-coloured face, needs medical attention.
But, again, the list isn’t inclusive, and you should speak to a doctor if you have any other symptoms that have become severe.

The virus can be spread easily in the cough or sneeze droplets from an infected individual.
If you’re worried that you may have the infection, you should quarantine yourself for at least 14 days.
The UK government has advised the public to remain indoors in an attempt to curb the spread of the infection.
The public have been told that they should only be leaving their home for work where absolutely necessary, to go food or medicine shopping, or for one hour of exercise.
